World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enhancements.
They also provide rewards and upgrades. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.
The upgrade button is located on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
When a weapon gets upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus and an adjustment factor that affects other stats. The weapon could also gain a variety of upgrade components that offer additional attributes or effects as well as distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment have an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, however it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item itself.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded with the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times, based on weapon's level.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade, it can then be modified to give different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects are based on the quality of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armour defense, then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before any other gear, as this can increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
item upgrading let players improve the base stats of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, or in loot drops, or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time, a piece of armor will be upgraded to next level once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for all types of armor, however some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by only a tiny amount. However, certain upgrade components can offer significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, some upgrades also offer specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, such as reducing the amount of damage taken while wearing armor or granting the ability to deflect attacks.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require multiple attempts. For instance, if a player wanted to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77 and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The reality is that some armors provide significant boosts to poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, making them invaluable for certain builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce the total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock more potency levels.
The potion also gains a custom color code which the player can choose by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, common and thick potions as well as awkward potions now have a different brewing texture. Added potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. Added lingering potions that can be prepared using splash potions or dragon breath, and a thick potion with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket
A trinket is a small inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the denizens of this maze which makes them more prevalent. At the moment the trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives each floor a Y% chance of having an ebony-colored mimic. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to alter the dungeon's environment, increasing its likelihood of producing water and grass. This trinket at the moment, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor or items that are generated to help solve danger rooms.
The item, which appears like a newt's eyes, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond simply narrowing your field of vision. At the present time, this trinket can increase the total health of the drinkers of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants vision on enemies within Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Higher Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will cause a random effect on the trinket either prolonging its life or strengthening its effects. You can reuse the trinket as often as you'd like however it will always be able to produce a new effect.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by only a tiny amount.
